I'm sharing two new working documents from The Human Collective: Composed Understanding and the Total Ecosystem Architecture.

I call them working documents intentionally. These ideas are not being presented as finished answers. They are an invitation to collaborate, challenge assumptions, identify risks, contribute expertise and lived experience, and help turn a broad vision into something that can responsibly be tested in the real world.

I also want to be transparent about how these documents are being created.

I use AI extensively in this work—not to decide what I believe or replace human expertise, but to help me translate the many interconnected thoughts in my head into language and structures that are easier for other people to understand, critique, and build upon. I use it as a tool for organization, research support, questioning my assumptions, and making ideas that can begin very abstractly in my mind more accessible to as many people as possible.

The vision, values, decisions, and responsibility for what I publish remain mine.

And that is also why I am publishing these as open working papers.

If you are an economist, builder, healthcare professional, educator, engineer, small-business owner, policy expert, community organizer, religious or philosophical scholar, accessibility advocate—or simply someone whose lived experience reveals something these documents have missed—I would genuinely value your perspective.

You do not have to agree with me to collaborate.

In fact, thoughtful disagreement is part of the design.

The goal of The Human Collective is not to find one person with all the answers. It is to explore whether we can build systems that allow many different forms of knowledge, experience, belief, and expertise to become composed understanding—and then test what we believe through evidence.

Cohesion does not require conformity.

These documents are an invitation to help make the next version better.
